Full job description

Who are we?

Oxipack is an innovative, international SME where technology and sustainability come together. With our measuring equipment, we help food and pharmaceutical customers worldwide prevent waste. We are growing, improving, and working together in a way that suits us: professional, down-to-earth, and human.

Our finance department plays an increasingly important role in that growth. Therefore, we are looking for an all-round Financial Assistant who loves structure, numbers, and clarity, and who enjoys further developing a department.

CANDIDATES MUST BE BASED IN THE NETHERLANDS AND HAVE THE LEGAL RIGHT TO WORK HERE.

What will you be doing?

You will have a broad role in which you truly touch the financial heart of Oxipack. Due to growth, replacement, and the redistribution of tasks, this is a position with significant influence on how we organize the administration. Specifically, you will be working on:

  • Collect, process, and verify financial business data
  • Coding and posting invoices
  • Processing and verifying cash and bank transactions daily
  • Accounts payable administration (including posting purchase invoices)
  • Managing accounts receivable and the flow of periodic dunning notices
  • Closing the general ledger monthly
  • Checking creditworthiness and monitoring payment terms
  • Contributing to the improvement of financial processes
  • Working with Twinfield (our financial system)

What are you bringing?

You work accurately, maintain an overview, and find it logical to honor agreements, especially with customers and suppliers. You feel at home in a practical, friendly work environment where we simply say it like it is.

  • MBO+ working and thinking level acquired through relevant education and/or experience in administrative processes.
  • Approximately 3 years of experience in a financial role
  • Experience with Twinfield or similar financial systems
  • Good command of Excel
  • You work independently, but find collaboration just as important
  • You speak good Dutch and can also make yourself clearly understood in English to international suppliers

What do you get from us?

You are joining at a time when we are professionalising and growing. You can immediately help build on that. No bureaucracy, no political games, but short lines of communication and the space to organize your work efficiently in your own way.

  • A broad, independent role in a growing technical company
  • Ample opportunity to make processes smarter and more transparent
  • Salary according to the Metal & Technology CLA, scale F (maximum €4,200 full-time)
  • Pension scheme (PMT)
  • Travel allowance
  • You work 24 hours per week, with flexible start and end times between 07:00 and 16:30
  • Hybrid working is possible, with a maximum of 1work-from-home day per week
  • 200 vacation hours based on full-time employment
  • A down-to-earth, informal working atmosphere with colleagues who work hard and laugh hard
  • Room to develop yourself, broadly or in depth

But above all, you get a place where your work matters. In a team that is building something bigger.
